More brilliant thinking from the city of Chattanooga. Let’s take a five lane road leading from Highway 153 to the airport and make it three lanes, add some bike lanes, sidewalks and landscaping.
Who are these idiots that come up with ways to waste money? Bike lanes? Really? How often are the ones on Shallowford at 153 being utilized? Never!
I traveled Shallowford to and from work five days a week for years and never saw one cyclist. Not one.
Fix the existing roads, repair potholes, stop wasting our tax money.

Really Mayor Berke? Spending money on Shepherd Road?
With so many of our city roads in disrepair, why are we spending money on a road that does not need anything?
Turn lane? So that we can turn into the one or two businesses that exist on Shepherd? Bike lane? Bike lane to where, from where?
How about repairing the roads that actually need it and not fix roads that need absolutely nothing.
