Gracelee Thorton has been named the Chattanooga Football Club’s Champion of Character. The award is presented by Trey Nelms - State Farm.

Gracelee Thorton has been with CFC Academy since she started in the Chattanooga Identification and Development Program (IDP). She plays on the Chattanooga FC Academy 2009 Girls Navy team, coached by Heath Parham, and is in the 4th grade at Graysville Elementary.

“Gracelee is one of the hardest working kids I have ever coached.
She shows up to practice with a smile, she works hard and shows much respect to her teammates and coach. Gracelee is the model of what type of Character we want our players to have," says Heath Parham.

According to a press release from the club, Gracelee lives by her personal motto: "Always doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do...trying to do better than the day before, always."
