Trent Ivy's virtual # 88 SLM Car
Christopher Bell #21 Sprint Car
Virtual Charlotte, NC --- Fox FS1 went live from virtual Charlotte, N.C. Wednesday night (no April Fools foolin') with the iRacing / World of Outlaws Late Models and Sprint Cars Invitational feature races.
With a who's who of star studded NASCAR and short track stars racing from their homes and shops all over the country, 25 year old Trent Ivy (# 88) of Union, S.C. picked up the $1,000 payday in the Morton Buildings Inc, feature. NASCAR star Kyle Larson was 4th behind Kaeden Cornell (Mo.) and Mike McKinney (Il.) and just ahead of hometown racer Corey Gordon from real Charlotte.
Reigning NASCAR Rookie of the Year contender and short track legend Christopher Bell (# 21) of Norman, Ok. dominated the WoO Sprint Car virtual feature.
iRacing drew nearly 1.5 million viewers last weekend for the live/simulated NASCAR in virtual Texas. This weekend iRacing comes from the virtual Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.
