2020 SSAC Men's Golf Awards Announced

Dalton State's Ben Rebne Golfer Of The Year

The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2020 SSAC men's golf award winners, highlighted by Dalton State's Ben Rebne being named 2020 SSAC Men's Golf Player of the Year.
 
The league also announced First-Team All-Conference, All-Freshman Team, All-Academic Team and Musco Lighting Champions of Character Team.
 
Rebne goes back-to-back in winning the award.

He joins S.M. Lee as other Roadrunners who have won the SSAC Player of the Year award in consecutive seasons. He led the SSAC and placed fourth in the NAIA in scoring average at 70.89. Rebne also ranked second in the NAIA in head-to-head rankings.
 
He has the second most wins in a season (4) and career (7). Rebne also holds the school-record for rounds played (102), birdies (330), and eagles (9).
 
Cleary and Allmond are repeat All-Conference selections from last season. Cleary has one win this season, TMU Fall Preview, and two career wins. He ranks fourth on the all-time wins list with one more with his senior season to come.
 
Allmond has one career win, the 2018 TMU Fall Preview. He ranks second on the career eagles list with eight and is fourth in birdies with 231. He also was named to the SSAC All-Academic team for his work in the classroom.
