Chaos Is The Enemy

Wednesday, April 8, 2020

What if there is a COVID-19 conspiracy? The internet, radio talk shows, and the national news networks talk conspiracy all night and all day from all angles. Pro Trump, anti Trump, 5G network, Chinese bio-lab accident or maybe not. Could be as advertised, a new virus (read flu) that is very strong because no one has ever had it before and there is no natural built up immunity. Like the Kennedy assassination we may never know.

I don't believe or disregard anything. Clear logical thinking is what is needed. Before Chattanooga / Hamilton County worries about the world lets take stock of what is going on here. The mayor, either one will do, should contact the Health Department and all the hospitals in this county and get the facts. I hope we citizens can trust the administrators of these facilities to give a non-political, non-biased assessment to our elected leaders who then can relate to the citizens in the most transparent way the numbers and age groups that this illness is affecting in our county.

My opinion only, but experts are a dime a dozen and I know of some outstanding medical professionals in our town who I would trust implicitly over Dr. Fauci or the Surgeon General. Once we have this information and on the recommendations of our health professionals then decide what needs to be closed and what doesn't.

Do you see where I am going with this? The communities, and the states that make America what it is need to assume more responsibility for their own welfare and stop handing power over in ever increasing amounts to career politicians a thousand miles away. This means we citizens must take a more proactive roll in our local affairs. Vote, if you don't want bike lanes on Shepherd Road. Vote, If you don't think Volkswagen was the boon it was advertised to be. Seek out candidates that are not just looking for good insurance and a retirement but ones that want to serve and listen to us, the tax paying citizens. Seek out people who don't want to be in public office. One thing I know for certain, no country whether communist, socialist, monarchy, democratic, totalitarian or republic can last if the economy shuts down, much as I would like to stay home.

I started this rant with the word conspiracy for a reason, the goal of psychological warfare is to get you to doubt your own convictions, to steer the populace towards a goal they would not normally choose for themselves. Combine this with guerrilla warfare (Sun Tzu "Kill one, frighten a thousand.") and what you get is confusion, chaos and fear. When people are continually subjected to this they will often follow a course that seems the safest, we will look to the most charismatic leaders to show us the way. I'm afraid we are being led away from freedom, away from morality and into darkness. I don't need to cite the examples from history, I am sure you know them.

Do I know the answers? No I don't. I have my suspicions. That's why I want to see neighbors rich and poor of all races join at the community level and seek solutions to our own problems and concerns and hopefully in this way all of us, in our small towns and big cities can get our country back. The Central Intelligence Agency has John 8:32 inscribed on the floor of their foyer " And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." How many truths are hidden from us by the people we elect and hope to trust? I don't have the answers, I want to trust my government, I want the truth.
