Bobby Jones
Bobby Leon Jones 83, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday May 31, 2020, at his residence.
He was a graduate of Howard High School, class of 1955 and furthered his education at Wilberforce University. He later attended New York University and Brooklyn College. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army for 22 years, and retired from the New York Transit after over 25 years.
Relaxation at home and quality time with his family was his favorite pastime.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Beatrice Jones and four brothers.
Bobby leaves behind to cherish his precious memories, his beloved and devoted wife of 57 years, Josephine Wilkerson Jones of Ooltewah; and other close relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 2, from 4-6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
An Honor Guard Ceremony to be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 3, at 12:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
