Kahlil Keone Strickland, 23, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020, in Chattanooga.
He was a graduate of Tyner High School class of 2017. He was employed by Aerotek of Chattanooga.
He was predeceased by his brother, De’Vonte Pryor; grandmother, Annie Ruth Freeman; grandfather, Antonio Lee Moore.
Kahlil leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Peyton Chanel Moore; mother, Nitquita (Donald) Steward; father, Joseph Reed, Jr.; siblings, Le’Darius T. Davis, Keirra Steward, DeWon Steward, Denzel Reed, Tre’ Reed, Lexis Reed, Jo’Shun Reed, Ke’Shun Reed all of Chattanooga; grandparents, Tammy (Chip) Howell, Gwendolyn Washington, Josephus (Ollie ) Reed, Sr.; great grandmother, Alice J. Jones; eight aunts, Tonletta (Kelvin) Pope, Tatia Reed, Cynthia (Michael) Moore, Jasmine Hawkins of Chattanooga; one uncle, Timothy C. Randolph, Jr., Chattanooga; three nephews, Antonio Lee Clements; four nieces; cousins, KiWon Toney, Tarus (Rhonda) Moore; dearest friends, Kayla Delaney, Alexia Nolan, Councilwoman Demetrus Coonrod, Tre Owten, and Nookie; best friends, Keli and Waldo; a host of other family and friends.
Public viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, June 11.
A private funeral service will be held.
Interment will be in Lakewood East.
