Keep Fiscal Responsibility In Nashville

  • Thursday, August 13, 2020

My friend Esther Helton has been a phenomenal force for good in Tennessee House District 31. As her motto - "Working to grow communities, not government" indicates, she underscored fiscal responsibility in Nashville - a struggle in recent years. But Esther is different.

She is rated by Americans for Prosperity as a "A+ Taxpayer Hero. She voted to repeal the Hall Tax, on interest and dividend income from investments. She cut taxes, stopped wasteful spending and supported removing barriers to educational opportunities and supports parents making educational decisions, not the government.

I wish we had more state representatives like her.  Her knowledge and love for the community she serves is so evident in her voting record. We need to keep her in November. Fiscal conservatives are the most important people we can elect right now and she's one of them.

So thank you, Esther, and we hope you keep supporting policies that help Tennessee taxpayers. You can contact her office and ask her to keep supporting these policies.
