Keep Fiscal Responsibility In Nashville

Thursday, August 13, 2020

My friend Esther Helton has been a phenomenal force for good in Tennessee House District 31. As her motto - "Working to grow communities, not government" indicates, she underscored fiscal responsibility in Nashville - a struggle in recent years. But Esther is different.

She is rated by Americans for Prosperity as a "A+ Taxpayer Hero. She voted to repeal the Hall Tax, on interest and dividend income from investments. She cut taxes, stopped wasteful spending and supported removing barriers to educational opportunities and supports parents making educational decisions, not the government.

I wish we had more state representatives like her.  Her knowledge and love for the community she serves is so evident in her voting record. We need to keep her in November. Fiscal conservatives are the most important people we can elect right now and she's one of them.

So thank you, Esther, and we hope you keep supporting policies that help Tennessee taxpayers. You can contact her office and ask her to keep supporting these policies.

The legend however hangs on. Just listen to the rhetoric of the President of the U.S., Donald Trump. Pitting blue state against red states as if the Hatfields and McCoys are once again at their fuedin'. ... (click for more)

Build Back?

The day after President Trump ordered a travel ban from the origin of COVID-19, ex-VP Biden tweeted, “We need to lead the way with science-not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, fear-mongering and xenophobia." Now excuse makers split hairs about whether or not Joe opposed the ban and called Trump a racist. Going back, Joe seems to need someone to explain what he “really meant.” ... (click for more)

Veteran Leadership - Zeca and Hernandez Propel CFC to Conference Title

The second goal in CFC’s 3-0 win over New Amsterdam was truly vintage for the best team in NISA’s Eastern Conference.
