Baylor Alumni Weekend, Reunions Postponed

  • Thursday, August 6, 2020

Baylor Director of Alumni Affairs Scotty Smith '89 announced that Baylor has made the difficult decision to postpone Alumni Weekend festivities and class reunions scheduled for the fall of 2020 due to continuing health and safety concerns surrounding COVID-19. The Baylor-McCallie football game has not been postponed.

"We are excited about continuing the momentum built during last year's fall gatherings, so we are disappointed that Alumni Weekend festivities must be postponed," said Mr. Smith. "We look forward to welcoming our alumni and their children back to campus for a spring Alumni Weekend. There’s nothing much better than springtime at Baylor School."

"We will be focusing our reunion planning on gatherings in the spring of 2021, so our classes ending in 0 and 5 will have an opportunity to truly celebrate and reconnect," added Mr. Smith. "We will keep everyone informed as plans for spring develop. In the meantime, we hope everyone remain safe and healthy."
