Chattanooga Market Is Accepting Applications For New Vendors

  • Tuesday, September 1, 2020

After four months of operating as an essentials-only Market, Chattanooga Market is looking forward to bringing the annual Chattanooga Holiday Market back this year—as planned. The Chattanooga Holiday Market takes place three weekends in December at the Chattanooga Convention Center. It has become an annual shopping tradition for the Chattanooga metro area and neighboring cities.

Each year, the Holiday Market features around 200 vendors selling their handicrafts, artisan foods and other one-of-a-kind gifts. The shopper's experience is enhanced each weekend by live music, and other cultural aspects which keep them coming back multiple times over the holiday season.

Chattanooga Market is now accepting applications for new vendors who are interested in participating in the Holiday Market (and any other events organized by the group). The key ingredient to the success of all Chattanooga Market events is that vendors are required to be the producers—essentially a vendor has baked, crafted, sewn, painted...the product they are selling.

The Holiday Market is a financial opportunity for vendors with low fees and access to thousands of new customers. The marketing and advertising campaign behind this three-weekend Market includes print, TV, radio and billboard—all included for vendors at no additional cost.

The application process is completely online and straight forward. Interested parties should visit publicmarkets.us/apply or call 648-2496 for any additional help or questions. Once vendors are approved, they have the ability to participate in all Public Market locations: Collegedale Market, Chattanooga Market, Erlanger Market and River Market.
