Thomas "Andy" Andrew Johns II, age 53 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Monday September 21, 2020.

He was born on April 22, 1967 in Chattanooga, Tn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James “Johnny” Johns of Dalton, Ga., and Garland and Myra Jackson of Chattanooga, Tn.

Andy enjoyed life and loved his kids, grandkids, family, and friends. He loved making people laugh by telling jokes. He loved baseball, football, and throwing the ball with his son. His favorite hobbies were playing golf, fishing, hiking, and listening to music.  

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Brown of Calhoun, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Drew and Amber Johns of Bradenton, FL; ex-wife, Neicy Johns of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Bryleigh Burnette and Brantley Bowen of Calhoun, GA; father and stepmother Tom and Betty Johns of Eton, GA; mother and stepfather, Tody and Jack Bisbee of Dalton, GA; grandmother, Kat Johns; sister and brother-in-law Jill and David Wagner; brothers and sister-in-laws, Ray and Brenda Simmons, Betty Clark, Peggy and Ricky Hall, Barbara Patterson, Nan Dunsmore, Vernon Harris; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Sept. 25, from 5-8 p.m. 

A prayer circle will be led by Pastor Stan Lester at 7 p.m. in the Parlor.

Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
