Former Tennessee Vol and Tennessee Titan Albert Haynesworth is facing charges of domestic assault in Cleveland, Tn. involving ex-girlfriend and former Vol Brittney Jackson.

Cleveland police responded to a Monday call from Chelsea drive, where police said Haynesworth was yelling at Ms. Jackson and her new boyfriend, Reginald Tucker.

Police said the victim told officers Haynesworth traveled from Franklin, Tn., after threatening both her and Tucker.

Police said “although no physical assault was reported, Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA) 39-13-101 states 'a person commits assault who intentionally or knowingly causes another to reasonably fear imminent bodily injury.' ”

Police said Haynesworth continued to curse and yell while police were there. He was then taken into custody and transported to the Bradley County Justice Center. Haynesworth is facing domestic assault and disorderly conduct charges.

Haynesworth attended the University of Tennessee from 1999 to 2000, and played for the Titans from 2002 to 2008 as part of a 10-year NFL career.
