Dianne Feagans Wilbourn, 68, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 after a courageous battle against COVID pneumonia.

 

Chattanooga has always been Dianne’s home. She was a graduate of Red Bank High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and an active member of the North River Church of Christian and Missionary Alliance.

 

Dianne was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She proudly attended every performance, game, match, and competition involving one of her children or grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy. Dianne loved camping and beach vacations with her children and spending holidays and special occasions with extended family. Her smile and laugh always filled her family’s hearts with joy!

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Fannie Feagans; in-laws Frank and Ollie Mae Wilbourn; her loving husband of 37 years, Dana Wilbourn; brother and sister-in-law, Dub and Barbara Feagans, and brother-in-law Calvin Wilbourn.

 

Dianne is survived by her son, Bryan Wilbourn (Jordan) of Chattanooga; daughter, Emily Fernandes (Diego) of Ringgold, GA; siblings, Gene Wilbourn and Larry Wilbourn; grandchildren, Gabriela and Noah Fernandes, Gracey and Lola Wilbourn; and several nieces and nephews.

 

The family expresses our sincerest gratitude for all of the prayers, compassion, and love that family and friends from around the world have poured over Dianne, Bryan, and Emily during this most difficult season.

 

A funeral service to commemorate Dianne’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor Daune Mabee officiating.

 

Interment will follow the ceremony at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the Chapel service at the Hamilton Funeral Home.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the North River Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, 5954 Highway 153, Hixson, Tennessee 37343.
