Jesse Caleb Crick
Jesse Caleb Crick, 34, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, after a brief illness.
Born in Tbilisi, Nadzaladevi, Georgia (then part of USSR), he came to this country in 1996, proudly earning his citizenship in 2008. He was a longtime member of the AIM Center and of Chattanooga Primitive Baptist Church, drawing strength and family from both communities.
He was preceded in death by his confidante and mentor, Connie Plavich and spiritual mentor, Joe Hildreth, and is survived by many other friends who became family, including Virginia Hildreth, Eddy Flick, and pastors Andrew Huffman and James Hindman (and families) of CPBC; Elizabeth Hendrix, Denise Carlson, Jim McClure, and Judy Mogul of AIM Center; and Lucie and Lisa Wileman (and family).
Jesse was a natural leader and eager participant in every experience that came his way. He was curious about all forms of global arts and culture; gifted in painting and interior design; and a patriot with an eye on all American political and judicial happenings. The memory of his enthusiasm, optimism, and magnanimous spirit will be treasured by the many who loved him and whose lives he touched forever.
