City Council District 5 Candidate Who Withdrew On Residency Issue Endorses Isiah Hester

  • Wednesday, January 6, 2021

LaDarius Price, the District 5 City Council candidate who withdrew over a residency issue, has endorsed Isiah Hester for the post.

Mr. Hester said, "It is with great pleasure to announce we have received the endorsement of former District 5 candidate LaDarius Price, Chattanooga community activist.

"We both understand the importance of tested, proven leadership and it is an honor to receive his endorsement at this critical point in our campaign. District 5 must have a city councilman that is ready to work on day one to build back a better District 5 creating stronger families, stronger communities.

I come from a proud family that has been involved with public service for as long as I can remember.

"As your city councilman, I want to work for you. We need to create more living-wage jobs, improve early childhood development, and make public safety - especially getting illegal guns off the streets, creating true diversity and inclusion training for our police our top priority. With over a decade of a mixture of governmental, managerial experience, I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate the complicated governmental agencies, and get things done."
