Teresa Al Aboudi

Teresa E. Al Aboudi, 67, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, in Dayton, Tennessee.

She was born on May 30, 1953, to Alvarene and Howard Bryson.

Teresa was one of eight children, Harry Daniels, Brenda Pell, William Thrailkill, Robert Thrailkill, Sandra Rymer, Carol Ann Bryson, Leroy Bryson.

Teresa grew up in Chattanooga, and later moved to Nashville, where she raised her girls. She  then moved back to Chattanooga in her later years.

Teresa was a fun-loving person who was straightforward and always spoke her mind. She always said, “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”. She was the type of person who made sure you blessed your food, and she strongly believed in going to church on Wednesdays, Sunday mornings and nights. She always tried to bring her family with her (even though they barely did) she would never stop trying. She was an extremely clean person, and in her younger years, definitely a workaholic. She loved to grab some ice, sit at her computer, and play FarmVille (we would get a thousand notifications a day, literally).

She was predeceased by her brother, Leroy Bryson; sister, Sandra Rymer.

Teresa is survived by her five beautiful daughters, Regina Brooks, Tamara Furgerson, Latricia Ragland, Jamie Williams and Yolanda Williams.

Teresa loved and cherished all her daughters.

She is survived by five of her siblings; grandchildren, Wayne Leinsz, III, Kasha’ Stewart, Dantavious Williams, Lea Leinsz, Carlos Branch Jr., Carlandro Branch, Danquan Branch, Deonte Ragland, Keonte Ragland, Marianna Covington, Deonna Ragland, Gabrielle Brooks, Jeffrey Watkins Jr., Sta’Lea Fant, Adrick Hall, Adarius Hall, Jadarius Hall; great-grandchildren, Domani’ Young, Hazel Williams, Malachi Bard, Dani Williams, Nadia Branch, Kash Torrey, Maylea Bard, and Monova Torrey.

Public viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will be in TN/GA Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
