Loretta “Lori” Gray, 57, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Lori was born in Atlanta, attended Lookout Valley High School, and was of the Baptist faith. She worked for 14 years with McKee Baking Company and then for 15 years with Roller Dye and Forming. Lori was hard working, easy going, loved her dogs, but loved her boys more. She would sacrifice anything for her sons and always put them before herself.

 

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Jackie R. Shipley; son, Robbie; and grandson, Ashton Kirby.

 

Survivors include her sons: Michael Kirby, Dustin Gray, and Zane Gray; grandson, Caden Kirby; mother, Inge Shipley; siblings, Jackie Shipley and Carola Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
