Silverdale Falls To Knox Webb On The Road

Spartans Score Late To Take 31-19 Region Win

Saturday, October 9, 2021

Silverdale carried a 19-17 lead into the fourth quarter against Knox Webb, but the Spartans managed two scores in the final stanza to best the Seahawks, 31-19.

Brett Rogers threw for three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough as Silverdale’s usually staunch defense bent to allow Webb to push across two TDs in the last nine minutes of play. The Spartan defense held the Seahawks; Connor Delashmitt to only 37 yards for the night.

Silverdale falls to 6-1, 3-1 in the DII-A East region standings, while the Spartans take over first place at 5-1, 4-0.
