The Dalton State men's soccer team know their destination and are ready for a rematch. The Roadrunners drew the #2-seed in the West Palm Beach bracket hosted by #6 Keiser (Fla.) on Monday and will take on (RV) Tennessee Wesleyan in first round action on Thursday, November 18. The winner will advance to take on either the Seahawks or Florida National on Saturday, November 20.
Dalton State and Tennessee Wesleyan met earlier this season in Athens, Tenn. with Bulldogs coming out with a 1-0 victory.
It will be the 3rd meeting between the Roadrunners and Bulldogs. Dalton State has a 0-2-1 record against Tennessee Wesleyan all-time.
Keiser and Florida Memorial will also have a rematch. The Seahawks were defeated by the Conquistadors 1-0 at home on October 6. The winners of the two matches will meet on November 20 to determine who moves on to the final site in Decatur, Ala. beginning on November 30.
This is the third berth in the NAIA Tournament for the Roadrunners. All have come in the past three seasons. All-time, Dalton State is 0-2 with losses to Embry Riddle (Ariz.) in 2019 and to St. Thomas (Fla.) in the 2021 Spring season.
