Daniel Kinsey
Daniel Royce Kinsey, 75, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Daniel was of the Christian faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Jasper, Tn. Daniel loved watching western movies, fishing, and anything on the water. In his younger years, he was a fur trapper and as he got older, he loved digging ginseng. Daniel loved his family especially watching the kids play ball. Daniel was a survivor and fought to the very end.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Veda Kinsey.
Daniel leaves his memories to his wife, VeLona Kinsey; sons, Benson (Melissa) Kinsey, Van Kinsey, and Aaron (Stephanie) Kinsey; daughters, Dana (Donald) Cheatham, Kimberly Jo, and Tina (Gabe) DeFoor; sister, Freida Moore; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will have visitation on Thursday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cox and Pastor Greg Steele officiating the service.
Pallbearers are Jace Cheatham, Chunk Cheatham, Tyler Goins, Logan Jenkins, Jimmy Jackson, and Leroy Hardeman. Honorary pallbearers are Noah Kinsey and Atticus Kinsey.
Interment will follow the funeral service at Brown’s Gap Cemetery in Trenton, Ga.
