South Pittsburg's Kelly, Silverdale's Delashmitt Lead East To TACA All-Star Win

Kelly Named Offensive Player Of The Game For East Squad

South Pittsburg’s DeAndre Kelly and Silverdale’s Connor Delashmitt helped lead the East over the West in a convincing win in the 2021 Tennessee Academic Coaches Association (TACA) All-Star game Thursday at Austin Peay State University.

Kelly, the offensive player of the game for the East scored twice, while Delashmitt scored once in the 31-3 romp over the West team. The win evens the series at seven victories apiece

Kelly scored with 3:56 to go in the first quarter and again in the fourth stanza. Delashmitt rushed for a three-yard score to open the fourth quarter. Kelly finished with 42 yards on eight carries, while Delashmitt gained 61 yards on 15 carries.
