Red Bank Announces June Schedule For Active Older Adult Classes

June’s schedule for Red Bank’s Active Older Adult classes has been announced. All classes will take place at the Red Bank Community Center, 3653 Tom Weathers Dr.

Lawrence Miller, an author and a local historian in Red Bank, will be joining the classes again. On Monday, June 9, Mr. Miller will share his photos and stories about the history of Red Bank.  

In 2023, senior citizens aged 60 and older lost over $3.4 billion to fraud, with an average loss of $33,915 per victim, according to officials.
On Thursday, June 26, Red Bank Police Sergeant Steve Hope will be sharing insights on fraud prevention and theft awareness, both locally and nationally.

Popular classes such as chair yoga, qi gong, guided exercise sessions, music jam, bingo and art classes presented by the Chattery, funded by a grant from TN Arts Build, will continue to be featured this month.  

"We have a variety of free activities planned to keep you engaged, active and connected with the 55+ community, “ said Tegan Barber, program assistant for the Parks, Trails and Recreation Department.
