Danny Winters
Danny Ray Winters, 68, of McDonald, departed this life peacefully on December 12, 2021, at a local hospital.
He was born on Sept. 15, 1953, in Reliance, Tn., to the late W.N. and Dorothy Bain Lowe. A graduate of Polk County High School, Danny later served for 13 years with the National Guard and then retired from Duracell after 30 years of dedicated service. A few of Danny’s favorite hobbies include watching J1 dirt track racing, bowling, attending auctions and seeking treasures, visiting the flea market, and telling some of the funniest jokes ever known. He was always the life of the party and was known for being a pest to everyone he knew and met. Going to the mountains was his special place along with spending time with his beloved family, who he loved dearly. He was loved by all who knew him, will be deeply missed, and was the best dad and papaw ever!
In addition to his parents, W.N. and Dorothy Lowe, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Ora Bain; father-in-law, Homer Ingram; granddaughter, Katylin Winters.
