Virginia Sue LaRue, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away December 2, 2021, at Woodland Terrace Health and Rehab. She was born on Aug. 5, 1938, in Jamestown, Tennessee to Hershel and Orpha Taylor. Sue was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed sewing, gardening, making jewelry, was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, Tennessee Football fan and, most of all, she loved her family.
Virginia is survived by Joe (CeCe) LaRue, Greg LaRue (Vickie Smith); grandchildren, Savannah LaRue, Taylor Tittle (Bree), Ally Tittle and Hudson Tittle; great-grandson, Lewis Healy; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Geneva Lee-Jolley and Thelma York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Orpha; sister, Winnie Chelton; and a niece, Susan McMillan.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Woodland Terrace Health and Rehab and also the Adoration Hospice for the love, respect and care they provided for Mrs. Sue.
