Licia Lynn Carroll
Licia Lynn Carroll, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
Licia was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Elizabeth Jean Carroll. She was born in Fort Benning, GA and raised in Chattanooga. She was a graduate of Central High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Licia was currently employed as an RN at Encompass Health, and previously employed at UNUM in the accounting department. Licia was very involved in tract and Bible distribution and evangelizing for missionaries in Ireland. She was also a member at City Church and Abba's House.
Surviving are her husband, Sjurdur Hojgaard; sister, Linda Bunnag (Sumanote); brother, Tom Carroll; one niece; and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, at the funeral home. The family requests that friends practice "social distancing" and wearing masks at the funeral home and the cemetery.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Dec. 13, at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Chapman officiating.
Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.
