Mocs Golfers Ninth At Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate

The Chattanooga Mocs men’s golf finished the first tournament of the spring semester with 306. That dropped the Mocs into a tie for ninth at 893 with Dayton.

Connor Nolan led the way with 73 which matched his first round score. Alex Cobb added with 77 as A.J. Lintunen and Paul Conroy each carded 78s completing the counting total. Oliver Simonsen posted the drop score with 80.

Cobb was the low man for the tournament on the squad. His 224 was tied for 30th one ahead of Lintunen’s 225.
Conroy was close on his heels at 226, while Nolan finished with 227 ahead of Simonsen’s 229. 

Charleston Southern claimed the team win with 871 topping Augusta in second at 873. Keller Harper (Furman) and Brandon Einstein (High Point) tied for medalist at 212.

The Mocs are back in action next week at the Sea Island Invitational March 4-6 on St. Simons Island, Ga. Scoring and pairings, when available, can be accessed on the team’s GoMocs.com schedule page.
