Misty Allen State Farm and Mayfield Elementary have formed a new BEST partnership. BEST, which stands for Business & Education Serving Together, is a Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce program that unites the efforts of a business and a local school for the betterment of both.

"Mayfield Elementary School is extremely excited to partner with Misty Allen and State Farm to enhance educational opportunities and awareness for our students and families,” said Randall Stephens, Mayfield Elementary School principal.
“Misty has been a friend to education for many years and will be a great asset to our school community. We look forward to pooling our time and talents toward a common vision."

While the initial goal of the BEST program is to forge affiliations between a local business and school for the benefit of both, the ultimate goal is to help prepare students for the labor force.
The BEST program involves a commitment of time, energy and expertise.

Misty Allen, State Farm agent, said, “As a local small business owner and member of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce, I have the incredible opportunity to come alongside local schools to be a help and resource. I am looking forward to many years supporting the faculty, staff, and most importantly, the children who attend Mayfield Elementary. Go Hawks! I want to thank Mr. Stephens and the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce for this opportunity.”

Each public school in the Bradley County and Cleveland City School Systems has one or more local business partners. For more information about the program, contact Larissa Coleman at 423-472-6587.
