James K. Ledford, age 61, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at a local hospital.
He was born Aug. 30, 1959 in Dalton, Ga., a son of the late James Leon Ledford and Letrell Raper Triplett.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Ledford and Bradley Ledford, both of Chatsworth, GA; daughters, Carley Ledford and Kayla Poteet, both of Dalton, GA; brother, Chuck Ledford of Colorado; sister, Penny Jones of Texas; granddaughter, Makayla Powell; and a grandson and a great-grandson on the way.
Memorial service to celebrate the life of James K. Ledford will be held Saturday, April 24, at 6 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 24.
Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
