The Boy Scouts and various others are once again placing the small flags on each grave at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day.

Because of COVID-19, no small flags were displayed last year.

This year’s Memorial Day observance in Chattanooga will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the National Guard Armory, 1801 S. Holtzclaw Ave.

The event is sponsored by the Chattanooga Area Veterans Council.
