CDOT Announces Upcoming Road Closures

The Chattanooga Department of Transportation announces the following upcoming road closures: 
 
Armed Forces Day Parade
 
Market Street will be closed Friday, May 7 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. between 12th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard for the Armed Forces Day Parade staging. 

Market Street between Martin Luther King Boulevard and 4th Street will experience a rolling closure between 10:30-11:30 a.m. The following streets will be closed at Market Street during this time: 8th Street, 7th Street, 6th Street and 5th Street. 

Chattanooga Market
 
Reggie White Blvd will be closed in front of the First Horizon Pavilion on Sunday, May 9 during the Chattanooga Market.
This week's theme is Mothers' Day.

Sterchi Farm Trailhead / Chickamauga Creek Greenway - Closed for Renovations

Park improvements are beginning today at the Sterchi Farm Trailhead.  Revitalized boat ramp access and reconstruction of landscaping near the pavilion are taking place. During this time, access to Sterchi Farm and the portion of the South Chickamauga Creek Greenway between Harrison Pike and the boat ramp will be closed.  Please visit other sections of the greenway, which you can find on this map. 

Palmetto Street at Vine Street

The intersection of Palmetto Street and Vine Street will be closed for concrete and asphalt restoration beginning Monday, May 10 through Wednesday, May 12 between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The intersection will be open each evening, however, traffic will need to use caution as an uneven surface will exist within the intersection.  Vehicles traveling onto Vine Street between Palmetto Street and UTC Lupton Hall can gain access through the parking lot of the Engineering Building.
