Ronald Gene Brewer, Sr., 71, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

 

He was born on July 12, 1949, in Chattanooga, to the late Harold Lee Brewer and Marian Louise Edmonds Brewer. 

He truly loved his famiy.

Mr. Brewer was a faithful member of the White Oak Church of Christ. He loved to work with his hands. He was a Viet Nam Veteran servicing in the U.S. Army, he received two purple hearts, and two bronze stars. He was an expert marksman. He achieved the rank of E-5.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Cathy Brewer; children, Leslie (Paul) Clark and Ronald Brewer, Jr.; grandson, Trey Clark; and a brother, Gary (Linda) Brewer.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 21, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Minister Rick Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday.
