Alfred H. “Sonny” Crabtree
Alfred H. “Sonny” Crabtree, age 81, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
Sonny was born in Chattanooga and was a 1960 graduate of Red Bank High School. He was retired from DuPont Corporation with over 40 years of service. Sonny was a member of the Red Bank Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Crabtree; parents, Mary Jo and Alfred Crabtree; and grandson, Zach Brittain.
Sonny is survived by his daughter, Suzan Brittain and husband Alan; grandson, Jake Brittain; granddaughter, Shea Brittain; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Zachary Brittain; sister, Carolyn Miller and husband Jim; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Services for Sonny will follow at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
