Husband-and-wife team Meg and Aaron Wasik are the new owners of Cicis Pizza on Gunbarrel Road. They took ownership of the location on Aug. 16 from the previous owners Steve and Barbie Potts, who had it for 20 years. Mr. Potts passed away earlier this year.
Mrs. Potts still owns the Cicis in Hixson.
Mr. and Mrs. Wasik have had other franchise businesses, including a cabinet refurbishing company in Orlando. They also have a laundromat, rental property and an ambulance company.
The store manager, Justin Boulware, has been working with the Wasiks and has been with Cicis since he was 15 years old.
Mr. and Mrs. Wasik are planning to remodel the restaurant, starting with a refreshed salad bar that includes new topping options.
