Herbert Carl Bone, 79, of Dunlap, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Carl was born July 17, 1942 to Ernest O. Bone and Nancy Morgan Bone.
Carl graduated from Sequatchie County High School in 1961, Highland College in 1966 and from Faith Theological Seminary in 1969. He attended Cornerstone Presbyterian Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest O. Bone and Nancy Morgan Bone; sisters, Ruth Voyles, Sarah Griffith and Frances Hobbs; and brothers, Jack Yoon, Jr. and Anthony Bone.
He is survived by his sister, Vera Layne of Chattanooga; brothers, Andrew (Katherine) Bone and Dewey Bone, both of Dunlap; sister-in-law, Mary Alice Yoon, of Memphis; brother-in-law, Charles Griffith, of Whitwell; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 at noon in the chapel of Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center, with Bro. Nick Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Sequatchie Co. Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday.
