Lance Davis
Lance Davis, 83, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022.
Lance was born to the late Carson and Mattie Davis July 15, 1938. He graduated from Hixson High School. He retired from DuPont after working there for 40 years. He was a faithful member of the Central Church of Christ for 20 years.
Lance was preceded in death by his brother, KC Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice Joyner Davis; son, Mitchell Davis; daughters, Nina Davis, Angela (David) Mendez; granddaughters, Ava Davis, Leah Davis; grandson, Alexander Davis; sister Joann Welch.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
