Charles “Frank” Steelman, 78, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. 

Frank was born on Sept. 29, 1943, in Benhams, Va. He moved with his family to Indiana in 1955, and married the love of his life, Sueann, on Aug. 18, 1973.  Frank loved to fish, read and play cards.  He also loved to watch TV and movies.

Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sueann; parents, Charles and Mildred Steelman; brothers, Jerry (Nila) Steelman, Gary Steelman and Ken Steelman.

He is survived by his beloved sister, Betty (Jim) Murphy of Gas City, In.; nieces, Caroll (Mike) Brammer of NC, Melisa Green-Price (Randy), Chrissy (Chad) Young, and Andrea (Dave) Schnitz, and one nephew, Chad Green (Megan Wilkin), all of In.; nine great-nephews and one great-niece.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 21, from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58.  A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Gardens East.
