Confession

  • Thursday, May 19, 2022

I have a confession to make.

I am part of the "Democratic left" who voted for Ms. Smedley as Hamilton County mayor.

Since the Democratic Party in Tennessee could easily meet in a phone booth, I took advantage of our being an open primary state and cast my vote for a Republican.

I will vote for the Democratic candidate in the general election.

I also confess to having voted Republican in the past and hope that the statute of limitations has passed.

Michael V. Woodward, Ph.D.
