Elaine Hilliard McClure, 74, of Soddy Daisy, Tn., went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

 

She was a graduate of Red Bank High School and attended Tennessee Tech.  She was a member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  She was a longtime resident of Chattanooga, and Gulf Shores, Al.  Elaine was a former dealer of antiques and part owner of Antique Station of Signal Mountain.  She leaves behind two of her dearest friends, Carolyn Foreman of Signal Mountain, and Nancy Patch of Chattanooga.

 

She loved her Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves and was so happy with their championships. 
“How bout them Dogs” and “Braves Win, Braves Win” were her cheers that will always be cherished.  Her miniature Golden Retriever, Sadie, is sadly searching for Elaine today.

 

Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Sim Hilliard. 

 

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Michael McClure, her mother, Dorothy Hilliard, brother, Steven Hilliard of Marietta, GA and her cousins, Carolyn Baptist of Martinsville, Va., and Mary Jett of Chattanooga.

 

Memorial gifts can be made to McKamey Animal Center of Chattanooga.

 

A Celebration of Elaine’s life will be held at a later date.
