She was a graduate of Red Bank High School and attended Tennessee Tech.  She was a member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  She was a longtime resident of Chattanooga, and Gulf Shores, Al.  Elaine was a former dealer of antiques and part owner of Antique Station of Signal Mountain.  She leaves behind two of her dearest friends, Carolyn Foreman of Signal Mountain, and Nancy Patch of Chattanooga.

She loved her Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves and was so happy with their championships.
