The United Championship Racing Alliance announced the Bama Red Line Oils Duals 2, coming a little over a month from now, at Penton Motor Speedway in Lafayette, Al. and the famed East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, outside Columbus, Ga.

Friday night, July 8, and Saturday night, July 9, the 604/Crate Late Model series presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil will hold Twin 50 lap events each paying $3,000 to win. A $1,000 bonus to any race team that sweeps the weekend is in play. If no racer wins both the top three in points over the weekend will divide the $1,000 with the high points racer receiving $500. Thus, making a possible $7,000 weekend for one racer.

Expected racers from all over the South including Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama will be entering the event. In 2020 the first Bama Duals took place between Fort Payne Motor Speedway and Talladega Short Track. Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland and Jason Welshan of Maryville, Tn. were victorious with Elliott going on to win his second UCRA championship worth $5,000.

The UCRA has hosted one event at EAMS in 2020 where local Lagrange, Ga. racer Jake Traylor was victorious at the Thomas family's high banked track. Traylor (#42) also has had success at the new PMS track in Lafayette.

Current points leader and reigning defending series champion Kenny Kizzar of Sale Creek leads the UCRA tour, while rookie Brent Rhodes of Crossville, Al. spears towards a possible $1,000 bonus at the end of the season.

This will be the first ever visit for the series to Calvin Pike's promoted Penton Motor Speedway.

Entry fee will be $100 and each track will be posting the pit and general admission prices prior to the event. Visit UCRAracing.com, EAMSdirt.com or PentonMotorSpeedway.com for further information.
