Lula Lake Land Trust announces the return of their famous Hike Bike Brew beer festival this fall with Brewtoberfest. This premier beer festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 22, from noon to 4 p.m. and attendees can expect the festival’s unique experience of brews in nature in addition to unlimited axe throwing and live music from Jaguar Shark. This signature beer festival assists the land trust in raising funds as well as awareness for conservation initiatives, hemlock preservation, and trail-building efforts.
Brewtoberfest: Hike Bike Brew Beer Festival takes place at the LLLT Core Preserve on Lookout Mountain. Each ticket is an adventure waiting to happen. Attendees can hike or bike the "Beer Path" leading them to the famous Lula Lake and Lula Falls, while stopping for beer tasters along the way. This event offers beer from 11 breweries: Chattanooga Brewing Company, Naked River Brewing Company, Five Wits Brewing Company, Back Forty Beer Company, Big River Brewing Company, OddStory Brewing Company, Hutton & Smith Brewing Company, Dalton Brewing Company, Tucker Brewing Co, Brewski, and Cherry Street Brewing. Tickets also include tasty bites from Frothy Monkey, Clever Alehouse, Clumpies Ice Cream Co, and GOOD DOG.
“Hike Bike Brew isn’t just a critical fundraiser for Lula Lake but also a very special event that brings nature and beer lovers from all over the country,” says Matthew Hubbard, director of Development for LLLT. “Because of the outpouring of support from ticket buyers and sponsors, we’re able to raise significant funds in the most fun way possible – raising abrew in the heart of nature for a good cause. Brewtoberfest will also be a zero waste event thanks to our friends at NewTerra Compost, too.”
A limited number of Early Bird Drinker Tickets are now available through Sept. 15 for $55, increasing to $65 afterward. Inclusive Drinker Ticket includes a Stanley souvenir stein, beer tastings, tasty bites, axe throwing, live music from Jaguar Shark at the meadow party, and good vibes for supporting Lula Lake. Non-Drinker Tickets are $35 per person and include food and fun at the meadow party. Ticket buyers can also enter to win a 2-night stay at a secluded 4-acre Lookout Mountain vacation retreat with a raffle entry add-on, courtesy of Evergreen Property Group.
