Robert Harold “Bob” McNabb, of Cleveland, passed away on August 10, 2022 at Tennova Hospital. Bob was a veteran. He spent most of his life working with heating and cooling and buying and selling used cars. When not working, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends. He was recently a resident of Life Care nursing home for several months.
Bob was born on April 21, 1938 to Samuel “Jack” McNabb and Cleta Harris McNabb, who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Willard McNabb, Ed McNabb, Virgil “Bunk” McNabb, Haskell McNabb, Doyle McNabb and Jackie McNabb; and two sisters, Charlene Taylor and Betty Hicks.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a sister, Ruth McNabb Shamblin, of Donalsonville, Ga.; a stepson, John Shelton, of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service for Bob will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13 at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel, with pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service time from 2-3 p.m.
