Sandra Paige Thompson, 54, passed away peacefully in a local hospital on Saturday, August 13, surrounded by loved ones. 


Paige graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1986 where she made lifelong friends who will remember her for her sweet smile, her wonderful cooking, her love of dancing, and her appreciation for fashion. She attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and later became a master hair stylist and colorist. She had impeccable taste and made the world a beautiful place in so many ways.


From her high school days to her final days, Paige had a welcoming, generous spirit. She loved nothing more than having a houseful of friends to enjoy a meal and reminisce. Everyone left her feeling special and appreciated. She was fiercely loyal and cherished her family and friends.


Paige was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth (Lib)Thompson of Chattanooga, and her sisters Tina and Kim Hix, both of California. Among those she is survived by are her father Hayven Thompson and her stepmother Linda Thompson of Chattanooga, siblings Gregory and Stacey Thompson (Chattanooga), sisters Constance Hix (California) and Rena Hix (Chattanooga), her nephew Kelly Ray Burkett, and many cousins.

 

She will also be remembered by her special friend John O’Brien and many friends who will miss her every day.
