Grand-opening day advertisement for the S & W Cafeteria
In the early to mid 70’s my Mom would take my friends and I to wrestling at the Memorial Auditorium and prior to the event we would have dinner at the S&W.
As a 10- to 12-year-old boy from small town Summerville down in North Georgia it was like we were going into a dream world. The food was the best ever, especially the desserts.
Wish it had stayed open longer so I could have taken my kids. Fond memories.
