The Harry S. Truman Club donated $1,000 to Cleveland State Community College for the John and Charlotte Bivens Scholarship.

The donation is being given in honor of Craig Bivens for his 30 years of public service. Craig retired in 2000 after serving as city planner for the City of Cleveland for 24 years. Prior to being city planner, Mr. Bivens worked with the State of Tennessee as a transportation planner at TDOT and as a community planner at the Tennessee State Planning Office. He also served six years with the Tennessee National Guard as a second lieutenant.

The Harry S. Truman Club of Bradley County is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote good citizenship, recognize leadership and support worthy causes in Bradley County and the region.
