Holding a two-shot lead heading into the final round of the 2023 Moccasin Bend City Four-Ball tournament, Keoni Vidrine and Wes Spillers never wavered on Sunday. The duo posted a 65 featuring seven birdies to capture the Regular Division championship with a 20-under 124.
The team of Bill Tarver and Richard Spangler eagled No. 18 to place second, carding a 62 on the day to close at 18-under 126. Ryan Cox and P.J. Shields finished third after shooting 64 to tally a two-day total of 17-under 127, tied with Wes Farris and Rick Mays who shot 65.
In the Senior Division, the brother tandem of Kip and Brent Henley eagled their final hole to complete their last three holes in four-under to win the title by four with a 19-under 125.
The Henleys saw their three-shot lead entering the day shrink to a single stroke after posting pars on their first six holes. But three birdies on the next five holes regained some margin before their strong finish led to a round of 65.
Scott Patton and Jimmy Watkins placed second as their 66 led to a final score of 15-under 129. Mike Jenkins and Richard Keene finished third at 12-under 132 following a round of 69.
Jeff Sherrill and Zeb Patten tied for fourth at 11-under 133 with Joe Markham and Gary Davis.
