The Southern British Car club is hosting it’s 29th Annual British Car show this Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Collegedale Commons, 4750 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale. This event is dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of all British cars.
This year they have artnered with Peachtree MG registry to celebrate the 100th year of MG.
The car show currently has 81 cars registered, and expects well over 100, double the cars from the 2022 show. The show attracts British car owners from all over the Southeast.
They expect to see a variety of cars this year, including Rolls-Royce, AustinHealy, Triumph, Jaguar and, of course, MG of all models and years.
The show includes a silent auction, with all the proceeds being donated to Welcome Home Chattanooga and Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
The show will conclude with the awards ceremony at 2 p.m., handing out over 60 awards to British Car show participants, including two categories for “Best of Show” and the Valve cover races.
Southern British Car Club President Mike Flood says, “We would like to invite everyone to the 29th Annual British Car show this Saturday on the Collegedale Commons from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
You will see cars from 40 to 70 years. We hope they bring back some memories and attract some new British car enthusiasts."
