Baker, Felix (Cleveland)

Felix Baker, 86, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at a local healthcare facility.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Lillian Cunningham Baker, and his four brothers, Henry, Homer, George Edward and R.C. Baker.

He is survived by his family, John Alan Baker, Jennifer Wood Baker and Diane Baker, along with several nieces and nephews.

Felix was a hard worker, a dedicated employee and a selfless provider for his family. He worked at Stein Construction Company in Chattanooga for over 25 years. From August of 1991 he worked for Bradley County Board of Education at Bradley Central High School, until retirement in May of 2012. He was a past member of Bethel Baptist Tabernacle and his favorite way to spend leisure time was fishing. He resided most of his life in Bradley County.

There will be a private family graveside service on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Ooltewah staff of Life care, Home Helpers Homecare of Cleveland and Tennessee Home Health Care.
