Erlanger’s Never Forgotten Program will hold the 29th Annual “Moments to Share” Candle Lighting Service on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. at Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 214 E. 8th St.
The remembrance service will honor babies who died before, during or after birth. Community members are invited to join this special evening, whether your loss was recent or long ago.
“This is a time for grieving families, friends, and parents to come together and be supported by one another,” said Ashli Thurman, Perinatal Bereavement coordinator at Erlanger. “This is a night to reflect and remember our babies' lives. Together, we will light a candle in their honor, say their names, and celebrate them through readings and song.”
Refreshments will be provided after the ceremony. There will also be time for reflection and conversation following the vigil. Participants will receive a special angel ornament keepsake in honor of their child.
To RSVP for this event, please call 778-5149 or email Lauren.Thurman@erlanger.org. For more information about Erlanger’s Perinatal and Neonatal Bereavement services, please visit erlanger.org/bereavement.
