After 36 years of service, Allison Priputin with Chattanooga Funeral Home – Hamilton Memorial Gardens, is retiring.

Ms. Priputin started with parent company Service Corporation International in October, 1987, in Jacksonville, Fl., moving to Atlanta and then to Chattanooga. During her time here Mrs. Priputin has served as Chattanooga Funeral Home President Gene Pike’s administrative assistant.

During a retirement party held at the North Chapel on Friday Ms. Priputin said, “Mr. Pike has been a wonderful boss and I will certainly miss him.”

Mr. Pike said, “Allison has been an excellent employee. She’s kept up with the latest in our industry and it will be hard to find someone with her knowledge. Mrs. Priputin has been a good teacher for new employees and I will certainly miss her. Gail and I wish Allison nothing but the best in her much deserved retirement.

Ms. Priputin said, “I’m looking forward to retirement; my crafts, reading books and spending time at one of my favorite vacation spots, Disneyworld.”

Cemetery Office Manager Jennifer Loveless said, “I will miss Allison very much. She not only has been my go-to for 26 years, but has also been a wonderful friend. That part will not change. I wish her nothing but the best in her much deserved retirement.”

Ashley Taylor-Gosell, who joined Hamilton Memorial Gardens in October of this year, will be joining Ms. Loveless as co-office manager serving our families.
