The Lee University men's basketball team is this holiday season to host a toy drive at Walker Arena in conjunction with the home basketball games on Sunday, December 17 when the Flames take on Shorter University. The toy drive will benefit Toys for Tots and collection will on Sunday at Walker Arena.
Fans attending each of the contests are encouraged to bring unwrapped gifts of any kind that are appropriate for children of all ages. Gifts will be collected by the U.S. Marine Corps. It will be in conjunction with the Cleveland and Bradley County youth basketball day at Walker Arena.
If you are unable to attend the game on Sunday, you can drop the toy off at Walker Arena on Saturday afternoon between 2 and 4 PM.
The basic mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new toys and distribute them to children during the holiday season. In 2022, Toys for Tots distributed 24.4 million toys, books and games to 9.9 million children. For more information visit ToysForTots.org.
